I feel it in my throat.

I feel you? 

What is it, at the base of my neck, when I have times of great joy and sense the great sorrow?

I feel it.

There is no best way to share. This is what I am telling myself, I believe it to be true. For me to have this thought become a belief so that I grow in my courageousness, I will keep telling myself this, out loud even, and I’m cool with that.

I do keep and eye on the clock - in a way this is new. Over the past few years we did not have a hard and fast start time to our day since we were homeschooling, and with that, comes some flexibility. This year has offered us new opportunities, and all three kiddos are now attending The Kelly School. (Wahoo <3)

Picking up where I left off.

Why?

I was led to believe, even if for my own therapeutic purposes, it’s worth it.

As I contemplate courageousness having been lived out in my life, in actuality it has morphed and changed over the years. In my younger years (ages 15-21), I am apt to say I may not have been courageous as much as I was one seeking adventure. Whereas now, living life at age 41 my courageous actions are most often not out-loud or even seen actions.

For this next undetermined amount of time and for reasons unknown to me, I purpose to be courageous in a new way. 

Courage is defined as mental or moral strength to venture, persevere and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. Venture is defined in part by, to expose to hazard or to risk.

Is life ever what we expect?  In our case, most often no, that's okay, it's better, right!?! 

I thank Jesus for guiding me through the learning curve of letting go of expectation

Friday night, October 27th, Ryan was contacted by an old colleague via text, this colleague had thought of Ryan for an open position that he had just heard about.  Funny…Ryan’s friend had NO idea the posture we were in, the waiting, the unknown!

Honored.
Grateful.
Still.

As Ryan needed to address certain issues in the past related to work, he, like many of us, would subconsciously add the filter of {pleasing man} to that which he believed was what God desired.  Addressing conflict, setting boundaries, then living them out, is difficult for all of us.
